The Youth Council
Barnsley democratically elective youth council has 34 councillors. There are 2 councillors per secondary school, 4 for all of barnsley college sites, 1 for Greenacre and 1 representative for young people who do not attend school or training in Barnsley.
The Borough of Barnsley is divided into nine areas. Each one of these areas is called a Youth Council Area.
