My Name is Emma Baines, i am the Involving Young People Coordinator for the voice & Influence team.

It is my job to work alongside and line manage the Youth Participation Workers. We are an enthusiastic team that enjoy's a challenge and we are dedicated to getting young people's voice's heard.

I also have a specific role to work alongside Looked after Young People who want to get involved in decsion making processes.

I believe that all Young People have a right to have a voice and that their opinions do matter. Young people of today are the future adults of Barnsley!!!

Thomas Batty - Area 2

Hello,

My name is Thomas Batty, the Youth Participation Worker for Area 2 (Bank End, Stairfoot, Ardsley, Worsbrough Dale, Kendray, Ward Green, Worsbrough Village, Worsbrough Bridge, Swaithe and Aldham House).

It is my job to get your voices heard and help to improve your local community. If your not happy about never being listened to, and think you have an important opinion on anything, then I am the person to speak to.

Hello My name is Gareth Robets, the new Youth Participation Worker for area 3 (Darfield, Wombwell, Billingley, Middlecliff, Little Houghton, Low Valley) It is my job to get your voices heard and to help you improve your local community.

Emma Turton - Area 4

My name is Emma and i am the Youth Participation Worker for Area 4. My role is to work with young people and get their voices heard to try and make changes in their area. I am work lots around different parts of area 4 and also do drops in's at Kingstone School for the pupils who attend the school. Angie Edge - Area 4

Hi my name is Angie Edge I am the Youth Participation Worker for Area 4 (Town Centre). I do this as a job share with Emma Turton.

The school i will be mainly working at is Holgate, i will hopefully be setting up Dropin Sessions for young people to come along with their suggestions and views to make changes in our area.

I have enjoyed working and visiting various schools during the elections for Youth Council members in the last few months.

Charlotte Agnew - Area 8

Hello my name is Charlotte Agnew and I am a Youth Participation Worker for area 8 (Cudworth, Grimethorpe, Shafton, Brierley, and Great Houghton)

My Job is to work with young people aged 13-19 and try to help make a difference in the community and school. I work with Priory School Buddies Project, Willowgarth High School with the School Council and other areas of school and also work around the area on a night.
