My Name is Emma Baines, i am the Involving Young People Coordinator for the voice & Influence team.
It is my job to work alongside and line manage the Youth Participation Workers. We are an enthusiastic team that enjoy's a challenge and we are dedicated to getting young people's voice's heard.
I also have a specific role to work alongside Looked after Young People who want to get involved in decsion making processes.
I believe that all Young People have a right to have a voice and that their opinions do matter. Young people of today are the future adults of Barnsley!!!

Dan Wildsmith - Area 4
Hiya My names Dan and im the Youth Participation Worker for the Town and Dearne areas. My role involves promoting the voice of youth to change things for the better for young people. I also support the Barnsley Youth Council and work closely with the Youth Councillors in my areas as well as working with schools and local youth clubs. ONLY YOU CAN SPEAK UP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN YOUR AREA! YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Charlotte Agnew - Area 8
Hi
My name is Charlotte and my job is to help young people get their voices heard!
I work in Brierley, Great Houghton, West Green, Cudworth, Shafton, Grimethorpe .
If you need help improving your area for young people or want your opinions
to be listened to I’m the person to talk to.
I will help you organise a “SPEAKOUT” where you can talk to the people
who make decisions about what goes off in your area.

Hobbies and Interests: Making games quizzes on his PC, juggling, DJing, breakdancing acting.
Likes most about the job: Being able to stay in bed until 11am (except for when theres a school assembly!)
Fascinating Fact: Appeared in 6 episodes of Hollyoaks as a breakdancer back in 2001
One thing that would make life better for young people in Barnsley: More disco's on Friday Saturday nights.
